History
The company was founded in 1985 in Miami, Florida by Hector Ortiz, with 27 years of electrical contracting experience, the company has been involved in all aspects of electrical design and installation. Over the years Horsepower Electric has had the opportunity to proudly partake in many quality projects. We strive to provide a professional installation and quality service on all of our projects.

Hector Ortiz ran the company himself until 2009, when Humberto Ortiz his son took the reins of the family-owned business. Horsepower Electric has built a reputation for being able to complete the most challenging electrical construction projects. Many of these projects resulted in lasting relationships with owners, clients and subcontractors and are still in existence today.
