Fusion Electric & Engineering is a full service state licensed unlimited electrical contractor based in Southwest Florida and is uniquely positioned in the market place by having in house professional engineers on staff. Most electrical contractors utilize estimators and project managers which have been trained by working in the field and eventually end up in an office position after gaining seniority. At Fusion Electric & Engineering, estimating and project management roles are handled by engineering staff. This allows us to examine plans as we are estimating and managing projects allowing us to identify design limitations, inefficiencies, or ways which the installation can be improved to no cost to the owner. In the end, the formal engineering training results in a better finished product for the customer.

Fusion Electric & Engineering is owned and qualified by Michael Chaussee; a Florida licensed electrical contractor as well as a licensed professional engineer with training and licensing in mechanical, electrical and plumbing/fire protection disciplines. Michael has a great understanding of how MEP systems interact, coordinate and influence each other due to the knowledge gained from the full MEP training. During the bidding and construction phases of previous projects, this knowledge has allowed him to identify possible MEP design components which have artificially/unnecessarily elevated project construction costs and long term recurring costs of operation and maintenance.
