Palm River Electric, Inc. is an electrical contracting firm originally founded in 2004 in Sarasota, Florida by president, Michael Harmon. Shortly thereafter expanded to serve a larger portion of the Southwest Florida market with another branch location in Bonita Springs, Florida, managed by Vice President, James Vaux.

Michael (Mike) and James (Jim) bring over 65 years of experience, previously gained from the electrical contracting field in Buffalo, NY. The bulk of their experiences have been in the commercial construction market specializing in RETAIL, OFFICE, MEDICAL and INDUSTRIAL buildings.

In effort to keep pace with developing GREEN technologies, they have also evolved and expanded their services to offer SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS and ELECTRICAL VEHICLE CHARGING SYSTEMS while continuing to build and maintain a loyal commercial clientele to whom they provide installation and maintenance services to on a regular basis. Harnessing SW Florida's sun exposure, while also preparing for summer storms, Palm River Electric, Inc. provides and installs EMERGENCY GENERATORS of all sizes and fuel types for any residence, business or institution, including complete design and engineering services.
